Rising Outlaw Country singer Creed Fisher is in the hospital after a brutal hit-and-run in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. The incident took place before his show at Rollie’s in Sauk Rapids on August 10. His condition is improving. However, Fisher is not out of the woods yet.

According to a statement from his team on Instagram, Fisher’s condition is “slowly but steadily improving.” They also noted that he is undergoing a series of surgeries to repair damage done in the hit-and-run. However, they have no way of knowing how long he will be hospitalized. Nor do they know when Fisher will be able to resume his current tour.

    Creed Fisher Suffered Multiple Injuries

According to a post from Cleveland Country Magazine, Creed Fisher sustained multiple injuries during the brutal hit and run. The injuries include internal bleeding, a collapsed lung, a fractured pelvis, multiple broken fingers, and severe road rash. They performed emergency surgery to repair his lung and stop the bleeding. After he recovers, he will need more surgery to repair his fractured pelvis.

Jesse Keith Whitley, son of country legend Keith Whitley and friend of Fisher, took to social media on Saturday (August 10) to share a photo of the singer in his hospital bed and an update on his health. “Keep my brother Creed Fisher in your thoughts and prayers,” he wrote. “He is still being his usual self but he had a motorcycle wreck yesterday. He had a collapsed lung that they’ve fixed but is having another surgery on Tuesday (August 13) on his pelvis,” Whitley added.

“I’m sure the nurses are loving dealing with him,” Whitley added jokingly. “Love ya brother and we’ll see you soon.”

    Impacted Tour Dates

Currently, there is no word on when Creed Fisher will return to the stage. However, it is likely that he’ll need to cancel or reschedule several upcoming dates on his current Stars And Stripes tour.

The Stars and Stripes Tour was originally scheduled to keep Fisher on the road for the rest of the year. His website shows that he planned to tour extensively through the West and Midwest until late September. Then, he was slated to hit the East Coast and Southeastern region.
