Yellowstone finally resumed filming after much debate over the future of the series, and has revealed the air date for the second half of season five. With Kevin Costner gone to work on his own Western film anthology, the show will most likely feel a little different. However, this new season also brings back a fan-favorite character: Lainey Wilson‘s bar singer Abby.

Previously, Lainey Wilson wasn’t sure if Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan was going to call her back. She hoped she would be able to reprise her role and finish her character’s story, but hadn’t heard anything. Then, at the Twisters movie premiere, she dropped a hint that she could return. “It’s good news, I’ll tell you that,” she said on the red carpet.

“The truth is, we’re trying to make sure we have enough time to get in there and get it done because we’ve still got a lot going on right now,” she continued, adding, “But it’s a priority.”

Yellowstone Reveals Season Premiere Date, Calls For Extras in Dallas Fort Worth Area

Now, Yellowstone has revealed the air date for season five part two. The show will return on November 10 following filming, and, according to a report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, they’re searching for extras for a concert scene.

This call for extras, paired with Lainey Wilson’s remarks, should give fans hope that her character will return. The Star-Telegram confirmed that the extras will be in a scene with Wilson. Actors in the Dallas Fort Worth area can apply via email, according to the report.

Lainey Wilson, meanwhile, recently appeared at Post Malone’s Grand Ole Opry debut. The two cracked jokes with an easy rapport, then launched into their collaboration, “Nosedive.” The new song appears on Post’s newly released country album, F-1 Trillion. He even released a deluxe version right out of the gate which features nine solo tracks. The main album included collaborations with country’s biggest stars, like Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, and Wilson. The solo tracks, however, show off Post’s understanding of country music, highlighting the work he put into the album while in Nashville.
