The album, Postcards from Texas, will drop on September 13, but Lambert it getting a head start on the celebrations. She posted about the show on her Instagram, sharing how fans can get free tickets.

“The Stubbs Box office will open at 12pm for wristband pickup. If you arrive early, you’ll have to wait outside till the box office opens, so be prepared for the heat,” she wrote, urging fans to “please be careful” due to the current heatwave in Austin.

Lambert included a slide in her post with even more information. For local Austin fans who want to head out to the show, doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. Wristbands are first-come, first-served, and there will be no other wristbands available once they run out, so plan accordingly.

The intimate show should be a fun time for all involved, where Miranda Lambert may possibly debut more songs from Postcards from Texas. So far, she’s released four singles from the album—”Wranglers,” “Damnit Randy,” “Alimony,” and the reflective ballad “No Man’s Land.”

Lambert produced the album with long-time collaborator Jon Randall, who she worked with for the 2021 album The Marfa Tapes alongside Jack Ingram. Fittingly, Postcards from Texas was recorded at the legendary Arlyn Recording Studios in Austin. Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, and Neil Young have recorded there, among many others.

Additionally, just a week after the album drops, Miranda Lambert will be honored with the Country Icon Award at the People’s Choice Country Awards. The honor will celebrate her more than 20 years in country music, during which she released nine studio albums and has won a whopping amount of awards, including a record-setting 35 ACM awards.

The People’s Choice Country Awards, hosted by Shania Twain, will air on September 26 from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
