The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) has arrested a man on probation from Texas for multiple drug and weapons charges. Shawn Gray, age 25 and of Beaumont, TX, was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Wednesday (July 3, 2024) on one count each of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Weapon While Possessing CDS, Operating a Clandestine Laboratory, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana, and Probation Violation.
3 sentenced for multistate string of robberies ending in Calcasieu Parish
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Three Louisiana men were sentenced to federal prison for a string of armed robberies that ended when they were caught in Calcasieu Parish. Prosecutors say Jaylon Deshon Brumfield, 25, of Lake Charles, Evan Aaron Ard, 22, and Taurus Terrell Finley, 22, both of Hammond, conspired to rob multiple businesses and people in 2022. The crime spree began in Kentwood and traveled through McComb, Mississippi, and Beaumont before ending in Vinton.
