Let go of grudges

Let go of anger's heavy weight,

Release the burden of your hate.

For grudges grow like poison vines,

Entangling hearts with thorny lines.

Forgiveness is the key, you'll find,

To free your soul and ease your mind.

The past can't change, but you can grow,

By choosing peace and letting go.

Each day's too precious to resent,

The wrongs that can't be now unbent.

Instead, embrace the healing art,

Of mending your own wounded heart.

So breathe in deep and exhale slow,

Let bitterness and anger go.

For life's too short to carry pain,

When love and joy you might regain.
