Wichita hospitals report fireworks injuries
Ascension Via Christi and Wesley Healthcare have issued numbers on the fireworks injuries that were reported in Wichita during the July 4th fireworks season. Via Christi hospitals reported a total of 35 patients, with seven admitted to intensive care, ten that were treated for minor injuries, and 18 in outpatient care.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A 64-year-old man was killed in a Russell County storm that produced strong winds and heavy rain. The storm moved into Russell County at around 11:30 Wednesday night. Multiple 911 calls into Russell County dispatch reported multiple campers at Lake Wilson being blown over.
