AMR showing improvement in Knox County, but still has room to grow

The latest numbers come as American Medical Response (AMR) is about to enter its seventh month under a new contract. Man sentenced to 12 years in prison after deadly drag racing crash in January 2023
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A man who pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide by drag-racing in April, as well as other crimes, was sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison on Friday. Tra'Shawn Glass entered a blind plea in late April, meaning there was no recommended punishment term between him and Knox County prosecutors. He was also charged with drag racing and with assaults.
