Good evening everyone. As expected, isolated severe weather has begun to dot areas from Illinois, back into Oklahoma; including parts of Iowa and Missouri.

In this morning's article, we stated that action would be isolated in nature compared to the long-ranging lines we saw the past few days. This has rung true, but our area of isolated svere weather is stretching beyond the range originally expected.

Look for heavy showers and storms to conitnue along a long path in scattered fashion. Sme of these storms will be capable of very large hail, damaging winds, frequent lightning, torrential rain, and some tornadoes.

For this reason, areas from Oklahoma, southeast Kansas, northwest Arkansas, and parts of Missouri and Iowa, We will probably see those watches advance as action moves to the east/southeast.
