Kate Middleton is set to undertake a long trip amid her cancer battle

Kate Middleton is expected to go on her "longest journey" since her cancer diagnosis according to The Daily Express.

Kate has not traveled this year due to her ongoing cancer treatment but that may change as she is expected to join the rest of the royals in Scotland.

Kate will accompany Prince William and their three children to spend their annual summer break in Balmoral.

After her cancer diagnosis, Kate only made two public appearances - at Trooping the Color and the Wimbledon finals.

To travel to Balmoral, Kate may have to undergo a nine hour trip. However, she is reported to be making good progress with her recovery.
