Prince Harry denied the claims that Meghan Markle broke royal protocol

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit the royal family, Meghan was accused of breaking royal protocol.

However, Harry rose to her defense to deny any claims that Meghan broke protocol while living as a royal.

In Harry and Meghan's Netflix docuseries, Meghan was asked if she broke royal protocol. Harry's response was that the "press invented a lot of protocols."

The couple also revealed that Meghan was under a lot of pressure and public scrutiny so anything she did could appear as if she had broken royal protocol.

Meghan also revealed that she never taught royal protocol.

"There's no class [where] some person goes, 'Sit like this, cross your legs like this, use this fork, don't do this, curtsy then, wear this kind of hat'," "It doesn't happen. So I needed to learn a lot."
