A senior royal turned down an offer to appear on TV with a scathing response

The Mirror reports that Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, was asked to appear on a reality TV show by the BBC.

However, the duchess turned down the offer immediately. An inside source had this to say about the duchess's response,

"The Duchess doesn’t consider reality TV offers."

If Sarah had accepted the offer, she would have had a chance to appear in this year's 20th anniversary of the British reality show Strictly Come Dancing.

While Sarah refused to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, she has appeared on daytime TV and even acted as guest presenter on ITV's This Morning.
