ANMOORE, W.Va. (WBOY) — A man has been charged with child neglect after allegedly kicking a juvenile out of his house while they were under his care in Harrison County.

On July 11, officers with the Anmoore Police Department were asked to assist the Clarksburg Police Department at a residence on Crisfield Street for a juvenile who had been found near the area on a bicycle, according to a criminal complaint.

During that time, officers were made aware that the juvenile had been missing for approximately three hours, and that Milton Jose Mendez Aguilera, 36, who was supposed to be supervising the juvenile had “made no efforts” to contact law enforcement, the complaint said.

When officers made contact with the juvenile, they learned that Aguilera had “kicked [them] out of the house,” and he had stated that “the juvenile would be dead in the morning,” according to the complaint.

Aguilera has been charged with child neglect. He is being held in North Central Regional Jail.
