(WWJ) -- As a state, Michigan has got a lot to offer — from the Great Lakes, to cool cities, to some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes.

But as it turns out, we’ve also got the brains to go with our beauty!

A new study from the personal finance website WalletHub ranks Ann Arbor, Mich. as the most educated city in the U.S.

In fact, the home of the University of Michigan ranked No. 1 in the country in every category when it comes to percentage of degrees among its residents — including high school, associate’s, bachelor’s, and graduate or professional degrees.

“The Ann Arbor, MI, metro area is the most educated in the country, with over 95% of adults ages 25 and older having at least a high school diploma, over 57% having a bachelor’s degree and over 30% having an advanced degree, all of which are the highest rates in the country,” the website writes.

“Ann Arbor also ranks fifth in the country when it comes to the quality of its universities, and it has the 18th-best public-school system,” the study continues. “In addition, the metro area has a lot of equality in educational attainment, with only a 1.9% gap between the share of women and men who have at least a bachelor’s degree.”

Other Michigan cities that made the list include Lansing (No. 42), Grand Rapids (No. 67), and Metro Detroit (No. 80) out of the 150 metro areas studied.
