Michigan is coming off another key win on the recruiting trail. But of course, Michigan fans are already thinking about the next man up.

So who are some other 2025 prospects that could jump on board early and continue to build the momentum? Here are five candidates.

WR Andrew Marsh , Katy (Texas) Jordan

Michigan has the commanding lead for Marsh on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine following his official visit for Victors Weekend last month. Marsh has visited U-M on several occasions and is now set to be back on Ann Arbor for the BBQ at The Big House at the end of the month. That will be another opportunity for Michigan to seal the deal with the Top 100 prospect. Washington is also set to get a visit later this month, and Kentucky is pushing to get him back on campus as well. Still, Michigan is the favorite with an August decision on deck.

WR Derek Meadows , Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman

Can Michigan pull off a stunner? Right now, it appears that LSU and Notre Dame are still the teams to beat in the race for Meadows. However, Meadows was set to make a commitment this weekend and delayed until July 20. A conversation with new head coach Sherrone Moore played a small role in that, and it appears Michigan is going to do its best to win him over before Saturday’s announcement. With that said, the biggest reason for the delay seems to be an NIL push from Notre Dame. LSU is willing to play in that arena as well. These types of recruitments usually don’t favor Michigan. Still, the Wolverines aren’t completely out of it just yet.

OL Andrew Babalola , Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest

Stanford has the heavy lead for Babalola on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. However, Michigan has made a huge run in this recruitment and is right up there with the Cardinal. Can Michigan pass up Stanford before he makes his decision later this summer? Only time will tell. But it’s clear Michigan keeps moving the needle, and the fact that U-M offers better football and offensive line production bodes well for the Wolverines. Babalola is really the only offensive line target left on the board.

LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng , Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

Michigan made a power move for Owusu-Boateng on his official visit for Victors Weekend. The Wolverines passed up programs like Ohio State and USC and are right at the top of the list with Notre Dame. Owusu-Boateng’s older brother did play for the Irish, but the Top 100 prospect may want to blaze his own trail. And it’s clear he loves the Michigan staff and sees himself as a perfect scheme fit. Owusu-Boateng has been all over the place with a decision timeline. He has stated the he would like to take it to October, but he could really pull the trigger at any time.

CB Jayden Sanders , Kilgore (Texas) High

Michigan is surging in the recruitment of Sanders following his unofficial visit last month. The On300 prospect is now set to return to Ann Arbor for the BBQ at The Big House. Sanders has developed strong relationships with assistants LaMar Morgan and JB Brown and is growing more and more comfortable with the idea of leaving home. With that said, Sanders is a TCU legacy, and the Horned Frogs are pushing to keep him in the Lone Star State. Oklahoma State remains a major player as well. Sanders is looking to make a decision in early August.
