NorthStar Clean Energy is relocating its corporate headquarters to Ann Arbor, Mich., from Jackson, Mich.

This move underscores NorthStar’s commitment to fostering sustainable energy solutions. The Ann Arbor area is an innovative sustainability community, which should allow the company to attract top-tier business partners and talent.

“We are excited to make Ann Arbor our new home,” Brian Hartmann, president of NorthStar Clean Energy, said. “The city’s strong commitment to sustainability, combined with its vibrant community of innovators, businesses, and students, makes it the perfect location for NorthStar as we continue to drive forward our mission of providing innovative solutions that enable our customers to meet their business and sustainability goals.”

The new headquarters, in Ann Arbor’s burgeoning technology and innovation area, will serve as the central hub for NorthStar’s operations, research, and development.

NorthStar Clean Energy’s relocation will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber on July 16. The company will host an open house event to welcome the community and showcase its new headquarters.

NorthStar, a subsidiary of CMS Energy Corp., is committed to creating local job opportunities and supporting the Ann Arbor community. The company will collaborate with local organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies to promote sustainable practices and drive economic growth in the region.
