Michigan continues recruiting dominance at cornerback as Sherrone Moore lands commitment from four star stud

The Michigan Wolverines have never been an absolute top tier recruiting school, but they certainly are taking advantage of the national championship momentum this off-season. Sherrone Moore and the Michigan staff already have their 2025 recruiting class up ranked on the fringe of the Top 10. Now they're looking even further ahead.

Michigan lands commitment from four star cornerback

Just a few short weeks after landing a commitment from their 2026 recruiting class quarterback, four star Brady Hart, the Wolverines now have their first big defensive recruitment of that cycle. Four star cornerback Brody Jennings from Jacksonville, Florida committed to Sherrone Moore and company on Sunday, selecting them over Miami (FL), Florida, and more!

The Wolverines just sent Mike Sainristil and Josh Wallace to the NFL this spring. They'll likely have Will Johnson hear his name called in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. This off-season Michigan added two true freshman and two transfer cornerbacks to the roster. And they've already added a Top 50 overall player at corner for next spring.

Now they've locked down yet another cornerback on the recruiting trail for 2026. It seems as though top tier defensive back recruits all over the country are beginning to understand the developmental upside in choosing to play for Michigan on the defensive side of the ball.

Brody Jennings, four star cornerback

Despite only having two seasons of high school football on his resume Brody Jennings already has nearly 20 scholarship offers from some of the best programs in the country. He's a little lean for now, but Jennings is a twitched up athlete with great ball skills and is quick to make decisions.

Jennings looks like he already possesses the length and instincts to play at the collegiate level and he's just a rising junior. Ever since he splashed onto recruiting site pages earlier this spring he's been rising up rankings boards. He's a Top 300 player already, with clearly much higher upside if he adds some weight.
