Paul Finebaum Takes Shot At Former College Football Head Coach For 'Pulling Off A Scam'

ESPN's Paul Finebaum shared his honest thoughts on Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh in the latest episode of "Get Up."
The former Michigan Wolverines head coach has been under fire for his involvement in the program's sign-stealing scandal.
Harbaugh recently gave his response to the debacle, leading to Finebaum's raw message.
He's denying all allegations, mentioning that he "did not participate" and will not apologize since he was not aware of the problem at hand.
"Never lie, never cheat, never steal," Harbaugh said . "I was raised with that lesson. I have raised my family on that lesson. I have preached that lesson to the teams that I have coached. No one is perfect. If you stumble, you apologize, and you make it right. Today, I do not apologize. I did not participate, was not aware nor complicit in those said allegations."
Following Harbaugh's message to college football fans and the media, Finebaum called his response an "Oscar-winning performance."
He's tipping his hat to the former Wolverine since he believes Michigan will walk away from the scandal basically unscathed.
"I'm going to bow at the feet of Jim Harbaugh for pulling off this scam and then acting like he didn't do anything wrong," Finebaum said.
Jul 15, 2015; Birmingham, AL, USA; Paul Finebaum broadcasts on ESPN during SEC media day at the Wynfrey Hotel.
Michigan has been investigated for months, given Connor Stalion's involvement in sign stealing from opposing teams, but the Wolverine's football analyst was only penalized with Level 1 violations.
Despite the dark cloud over their program, the Wolverines would end the 2023-24 season at the top of the college football world.
They defeated the Washington Huskies 34-13 to finish their perfect 15-0 season and hoist up the national title trophy.
Fans and media personnel have debated numerous punishments that Michigan should face, but it seems that with Harbaugh in the NFL and head coach Sherrone Moore leading the way, there won't be any true retribution for the program in Ann Arbor.
Finebaum seems to believe this is a great scenario for the Wolverines and Harbaugh since they're walking away from a "scam" with "very little penalty."
