A 14-year-old boy died on Friday (June 28) after a shooting in Annandale that left another teen injured. Detectives believe the two boys were walking together around the Fairmont Gardens Apartments when a vehicle approached them, and its occupants began shooting, the Fairfax County Police Department said in a news release published last night (Sunday).

Two people, including the alleged shooter, initially had life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital, police said.

(Washington, D.C.) – The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying suspects and a vehicle involved in an armed robbery.
