Crash in Big Lake kills 2 teens, seriously injures another
BIG LAKE, Minn. (FOX 9) - A single car crash in Big Lake, Minnesota killed two teen boys and seriously injured another teen early Saturday morning. The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on Highway 25 near Pleasant Avenue, Minnesota State Patrol said. A Big Lake police officer was on southbound Highway 25 and saw a BMW traveling above the speed limit northbound on the highway near Tarrytown Road.

Crystal Police On Alert for ‘Pop-Up Gatherings’
Crystal police say they were on high alert over Fourth of July weekend for so-called “pop-up gatherings” after two previous incidents at Becker Park. Pop-up gatherings, also known as “take-overs,” involve large groups of people, mostly juveniles, who gather at a certain location determined usually through social media communication.
Renville man hurt in crash involving pickups hauling a boat and four-wheeler
(Becker MN-) A pickup pulling a boat and a pickup pulling a trailer with a four wheeler on it crashed in Sherburne County Saturday night, sending a Renville man to the hospital. The state patrol says 41-year-old Matthew Rohlik of Renville was driving the pickup with the four-wheeler westbound on 97th Street Southeast, and the pickup pulling the boat was southbound on Highway 25, about 2 miles north of Becker, when they collided in a t-bone crash. Rohlik was taken to The St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver and a passenger were not hurt. The crash was reported at 8:56 p.m. Saturday.
Attempted traffic stop of stolen pickup results in four car crash with injuries in Becker
BECKER, Minn. — An attempted traffic stop on a stolen pickup resulted in a four car crash that injured three people, one of which severely, in Sherburne County. The Minnesota State Patrol says around 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office was trying to stop a pickup recently reported stolen from the City of St. Cloud.

Officers say a vehicle struck a person walking Sunday night, and the victim died at the scene. The driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
