Tree Toppers 4-H club monthly meeting

Tree Toppers 4-H club held their monthly meeting on Monday May 12 at the Cornelius Farm, where fun presentations, activities, and county fair planning took place.

During the meeting, club members brainstormed ideas for their booth and planter displays for the fair. Then they voted on whose idea best fit this year’s fair theme: ‘Hero’s Galore in 2024’.

After the meeting, the Cornelius family split the club members into groups and led them to different stations for fun experiences and learning. One of the stations involved planting house plants. Luke Cornelius taught members how to make a bug collection for the fair. Tessa Cornelius demonstrated the 4-H Dog Project with her dog, Hero, and showed everyone the assorted animals on the farm like cats, goats, and horses.
