$16M budget, rates, fees hearing in June for Apache Junction Sewer District

Apache Junction Sewer District will conduct a public hearing at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, on the district’s fiscal year 2025 budget and proposed rates, fees and charges. The FY 2025 budget is $16,368,740, up from $11,826,467 for FY 2024.

The hearing will be in the District Board Room, 5661 S. Ironwood Drive in Apache Junction, according to a public notice.

Revenue sources for FY 2025 are:

• Service charges: $7,627,645 — up from $7,254,897 in FY 2024;
• Connection fees: $6,882,855 — up from $3,393,305 in FY 2024
• Other revenue: $1,858,240 up from $1,178,265 in FY 2024
