Police: Tampa mom arrested for killing her 4-year-old son
TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa woman was arrested after she allegedly beat her young son to death, according to the Tampa Police Department. Arayiah Hudson, 36, called first responders at 4:37 p.m. on Saturday to her home on North 15th Street and said her 4-year-old son, Joseph, was unresponsive. She told deputies he was coughing and having a hard time breathing after eating chips and drinking water. Officers tried to perform CPR but Joseph was pronounced dead at a hospital.

St. Petersburg man arrested for robbery by sudden snatching
ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery involving a disabled victim, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Danijel Boskovic, of St. Petersburg, was taken into custody on June 19, 2024, for unrelated charges. Detectives later charged him with robbery by sudden snatching after receiving a tip from a citizen. Boskovic admitted to stealing the victim’s cellphone and trading it for Fentanyl during an interview with detectives. He remains at the Pinellas County Jail.
