The Paris Olympic games are about to finalize and the homegrown athletes of the Garden State have amassed 10 medals out of the 105 medals the U.S. team has gotten so far as of Friday.

Medal winners who grew up in New Jersey competed in multiple disciplines including gymnastics, swimming and even fencing, earning a total of six gold and four silver medals.

Save for Bam Adebayo, from the U.S. basketball team, no other New Jerseyan on Team USA is on the schedule for a forthcoming match. New Jersey will get another medal added on to its haul once the U.S. basketball team faces France in the Saturday's final.

The youngest medalist was artistic gymnast Hezly Rivera, 16, who won a gold medal in the women’s team all-around event. Second-time Olympian, swimmer Nic Fink was the oldest medalist with 31 years of age.

Here are the NJ athletes that are bringing medals home:

    • Swimmer Jack Alexy, 21, from Mendham, got a gold medal in men’s 4×100-meter freestyle relay; silver medal in men’s 4×100-meter medley.
