    Operation Best Friend: Meet Bo!

    By Morgan Huff,

    2024-05-22

On Operation Best Friend, the Benton-Franklin Humane Society will feature one dog that's looking for a home every Wednesday on Good Morning Northwest.

On May 22th, the dog of the day was 7-year-old Coonhound Walker, Bo.

Bo came to BFHS into in 2020 and was adopted shortly after but recently his owner's health has deteriorated.

BFHS said Bo will need a family who loves to play tug-of-war or tennis. He would love a family who gave him a lot of time and interaction as well as lots of time to run around.

Even with Bo's high-energy, he still loves to cuddle and be lazy after a long day of getting his energy out.

Bo does have a small amount of socialization with other dogs but will need introductions to new friends. Bo would be better placed in a home with no livestock or cats.

Bo has experience with children and does well with them in the home!

Bo is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $350.

The family who decides to adopt any of the pets featured weekly will receive a $50 gift card to Paws Natural Pet Emporium.

The Benton Franklin Humane Society is located at 1736 East 7th Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99337

Watch #OperationBestFriend every Wednesday on Good Morning Northwest at 5 and 6 a.m.
