Family dog dies in early-morning house fire in Casper on Wednesday
CASPER, Wyo. — A family pet has died after a house fire early Wednesday in the Casper area. According to a release from Casper Fire-EMS, crews responded to a call on the 200 block of Indian Paintbrush just after 5 a.m. Wednesday for reports of smoke coming from the roof of a home.
National H.S. Finals Rodeo Nearing End of 1st Go-Round
The first go-round of the National High School Finals Rodeo will conclude on Wednesday morning and the 2nd go begins on Wednesday night in Rock Springs. So far, the Wyoming girl's team is running in 3rd place with Yoder's Hadley Thompson sitting in 3rd place in the goat tying. Rhame Hicks from Gillette is 5th in the breakaway roping while Kloe Nichols of Boulder is 8th in the barrel racing. Strong afternoon thunderstorms possible midweek in Casper area
CASPER, Wyo. — Occasional thunderstorms, some potentially strong at times, are possible on Wednesday afternoon in the Casper area. According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, Wednesday’s high temperature will reach 87 degrees as chances of thunderstorms rise after noon.
