Have you ever wondered who Casper's most wanted fugitives are?. The following is a compiled list of the most wanted criminals in our area for the month of July 2024. If you have information pertaining to the location of these wanted individuals, please call the Casper Police Department at (307) 235-8278 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers of Central Wyoming by calling (307) 577-5171.
Public Help Sought In Finding Missing Cheyenne Runaway
The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing runaway. That's according to a post on the agency's Facebook page. The post describes the missing boy as follows: 16-year-old Gabriel Yetter, 5'10", 175lbs. Last seen wearing blue jeans, cowboy boots, gray/green shirt, and red and black baseball cap. He was last seen in the 3800 block of Polk Ave."
Central Wyoming Rodeo with 5 Perf’s in the Books
There's one more performance to go at the Central Wyoming Rodeo in Casper: the championship short-go on Saturday night at the Fairgrounds. The top 12 in each event qualified for the short go and in the bareback, Keenen Hayes of Hayden, Colorado comes in with the top score of 87.5 Roedy Farrell of Thermopolis, Donny Proffit from Kemmerer, Kaycee's Ethan Mazurenko and Buffalo's Cole Reiner all made it to the short go.
Shoshoni Town Council to discuss town-owned property, zoning ordinances during workshop meeting Monday
The Shoshoni Town council will gather for a workshop meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 15, at Shoshoni Town Hall, 100 W. Casper One-Pitch Softball Tournament Quickly Approaching
The 25th Annual One Pitch Softball Tournament is quickly approaching. This tournament is set to take place in Casper on Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11. The One Pitch Tournament offers a three-game guarantee in men’s, women’s and coed. All games will take place at the Crossroads and North Casper Softball Complexes. Awards will be given to 1st & 2nd place teams in each bracket. All umpires are USA Softball Association certified.

A Big Wildfire Is Now Burning In Natrona County
Summertime in Wyoming is prime time for wildfires across the state, and there's a big one burning in a remote area of Natrona County. The Oregon Trail Fire has already burned over 1500 acres and is still burning 18-20 miles north of Oregon Trail Road near Prospect Hill Interpretive Site.

CASPER, Wyo. — Sporting events brought an estimated $35,184,384 into the Casper area’s economy over the past fiscal year, which ended June 30. “Sports tourism plays a key role in Visit Casper’s programs,” Visit Casper CEO Tyler Daugherty said. “We’ve been proactively soliciting sporting events to come to Casper and Natrona County, as our community is well-positioned to host them, from facilities to lodging and restaurants to shopping.”
