Heat eases in Casper area this week; thunderstorms possible on Monday
CASPER, Wyo. — Central Wyoming will get a break from a days-long heat wave this week, but some unsettled weather is possible over the next few days. According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, Casper’s highs today through Wednesday should reach the mid- to high 80s. Thunderstorm chances are likely on Monday afternoon, and gusts could surpass 24 mph at times.

Wyoming Gas Prices Inch Upwards Heading into Busy Travel Season
Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have risen 2.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.31/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 494 stations in Wyoming. Prices in Wyoming are 6.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 28.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 2.3 cents in the last week and stands at $3.83 per gallon.
