In the past, the Medicine Bow public works department arranged a community clean-up day where residents could have trash taken to the dump for free. The Riverton School Board will be meeting on Wednesday this month to approve their budget for the coming school year. Trustees will be asked to approve a general fund budget of $46.1 million dollars, and with their other specific funds, such as food service, insurance, capital construction, major maintenance and such, the total budget is $89.4 million.
