Sibling duo earn gold at state pickleball championship
Buffalo locals Micah and Jackson Metcalf were the youngest participants at the Wyoming State Pickleball Championship, but that didn’t stop them from winning gold. The brothers, 13 and 11, respectively, placed first overall in the men’s doubles division, securing their spot at the Lapiplasty United Pickleball Association World Championship that will be held in November in Dallas.
New water and sewer rate structure would shift costs by customer type, usage, study says
CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper is expected to consider a new water and sewer rate system when it goes to set annual rates at the end of the year. The proposal is meant to keep up with rising operating and maintenance costs and shift costs onto high-volume users, according to the presentation at a work session Tuesday by Todd Cristiano of Raftelis Financial Consultants and Tom Brauer, the city’s chief operating officer.

This is my response to the mayor’s blatant disregard to my speech addressing my concerns at the Evanston City Council meeting on Aug. 6. Climber visiting Wyoming falls to death at Lake Point Climbing Area

Woman dies in severe crash after RV brakes fail on Teton Pass
JACKSON, Wyoming — A woman was killed in a severe crash on Wyoming Highway 22 in the Teton Pass Wednesday afternoon. Wyoming Highway Patrol spokesman Arron Healy says an RV was traveling eastbound on the highway down a steep mountain grade pulling a Ford F-150 behind other traffic at about 4 p.m.
