Governor Desantis appoints UF graduate in Alachua County
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A seat is being filled on the Alachua County court after Governor DeSantis appointed a University of Florida graduate to the position. UF graduate Adam Lee will be taking over the seat left behind by Judge Walter Green. Judge Green retired in December and died in March.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Dr. Christine Higgins has taken over as the new principal at Saint Patrick Interparish School. Higgins assumed the role of principal on July 1.
