In California, a restaurant accidentally served a toddler wine instead of apple juice. Per PEOPLE, Noemi Valencia and her partner went to a Japanese restaurant. They realized during their meal that their toddler started experiencing symptoms of intoxication. "She was swaying, she was falling over, she was leaning on walls, she couldn't hold her head up, she was slurring her words," Valencia stated.
Nate Sheppard leads Mandeville in strong scrimmage effort vs. Jesuit
Although scrimmages don’t count in the win-loss column, Mandeville’s football players were awarded their “victory cookies” after Friday’s scrimmage against Jesuit. Mandeville outscored Jesuit 21-7 in the live half of the scrimmage. During this portion, senior running back Nate Sheppard rushed for 122 yards on just five carries. A jury recently convicted Kahlilullah Razaq of crimes against a child that have left the community troubled. According to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, Razaq was found guilty on August 21, of annoying or molesting a child and of communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a felony sex act.
