Single-vehicle crash in Sandgate leaves car totaled, driver uninjured
SANDGATE — A New York woman escaped injury after her car rolled over on Sandgate Road Thursday afternoon, Vermont State Police said. Victoria Johnson, 39, of Shushan, N.Y., was driving a 2016 Subaru Forester on Sandgate Road near Hamilton Hollow Road at approximately 3:24 p.m. when she swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway, according to police.

A man found dead in his car in Bennington County has been identified as Thomas D. Selecter Jr., 55, of Bennington. Vermont State Police responded to a vehicle pull-off on Notch Road in Woodford on Tuesday for a report of a vehicle that had been parked there for over two weeks.
