    Boys

Fifth seed Armstrong boys lacrosse ended their season last week with an 11-5 loss to fourth seed Maple Grove in the Section 5 tournament, hosted by the Crimson on May 29. The result means a Falcons team with its share of both veterans and up-and-comers ends the season with an 8-6 overall record.

Armstrong had 10 seniors this season, including Aidan Robb, Angelous Matthews, Burke Wittmers, Easton Bazyk, Jack Bailey, Jameson Essen, Jameson Kubitschek-Myers, Logan Marsh, Peter Hansmann and Wyatt Raveling.

    Girls

Armstrong/Cooper girls lacrosse began last week with a 19-8 section win over Osseo/Park Center at Cooper High School on May 28. The Wings began the tournament as the sixth seed, while OPC were the 11th seed.

The Wings then ended their season in a 17-1 loss to Champlin Park on May 30, closing out their debut year as a co-op. The Wings earned an impressive tie with Elk River/Zimmerman for third place in the Northwest Suburban Conference and earned a 7-2 conference record, 9-6 overall this season.

Armstrong/Cooper will graduate four seniors this season, including Erin Palony, Bela Goergen, Saron Dereje and Brielle Anderson.
