Teen charged in shooting at NorthPark Mall
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A 16-year-old Rock Island boy is facing charges in connection with a shooting at NorthPark Mall Monday afternoon. The boy has been charged as an adult with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class C felony punishable by 10 years in prison, and possession of a firearm by a felon, a Class D felony punishable by five years in prison, according to online court records.

It’s game day at the state tournament for both the Wahlert High School baseball and softball team. The top ranked and top seeded Golden Eagles baseball team (33-9) will meet 8th seed Central Dewitt (25-12) at 7:30 this evening at Kernels Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. This is Wahlert’s 3rd state tournament appearance in the past four seasons. The winner advances to the 3A semi-finals on Wednesday evening. One Vehicle Rollover In Grant County Injures Platteville Woman
The Grant County Sheriff has just released details about a one vehicle accident on Saturday morning which seriously injured a Platteville woman. The crash occurred around 8:30 on Highway 151 near Jamestown Township. Authorities say a pick-up driven by 30 year old Hillaree Richardson lost control, left the road, went into the ditch and rolled. Richardson was thrown from the vehicle. She airlifted to U-W Hospital in Madison. The accident remains under investigation.
