Work to resume at Fourth Street garage as Easton fights for former subcontractors to be paid
The Fourth Street Parking Garage will receive long-awaited work after a resolution passed by Easton City Council to bring on a new contractor. This resolution arrives after problems arose with the original contractor the city hired to construct the garage, Perrotto Builders. After the city complained of the quality and timeliness of their work, only the bottom deck of the garage opened last May. The garage fully opened last June.

Buffalo Soldiers work to restore paved-over cemetery of Black soldiers
More than a year ago, the local chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers made a sad discovery. A burial site of Black soldiers had been paved over and turned into a basketball court in Easton. Since then, the group has worked to make sure those laid to rest there were given the honor they deserved.
