    The OGHOA Giving Committee Makes Donation to Jersey Shore Rescue Mission

    The Giving Committee of the Ocean Grove Homeowners Association recently made their first donation of over 500 men's boxers and t-shirts to the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission.     OCEAN GROVE, NJ — The Giving Committee of the Ocean Grove Homeowners Association successfully made their first donation of over 500 men's boxers and t-shirts to the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission in Asbury Park.

    From June 1st to June 30th members of the committee gathered the items from the extraordinarily generous residents of Ocean Grove, Neptune Township and beyond.

    The Giving Committee's July campaign is currently taking place, with a mission to bring comfort and joy to the senior residents at Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing and Rehab - Ocean Grove (formerly Manor by the Sea).

    Items being collected for this Community Item Drive are as follows:

    Comfortable clothing, including new or gently used sweatshirts (M/L/XL) and non-slip socks

    Activity items, adult word search, crossword and coloring books and colored markers and pencils

    Beauty Supplies, including nail polish and remover, emery boards, lipstick and body spray

    The community is invited to donate what they can until July 30th.

    The Giving Committee has compiled an Amazon wishlist here , where donations are being accepted.

    Drop-off bins are located at: Dale & Dollops Diner, 60 Main Avenue, and at the Ocean Grove Area Chamber of Commerce office, 39 Pilgrim Pathway.

    The Giving Committee will bring the donated items from the collection boxes to the Manor by the Sea at the beginning of August.
