    Wave of Job Cuts Hits Wisconsin, Thousands Brace for Layoffs

    The mass layoffs continue in Wisconsin.

    Under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, an employer with more than 100 full-time workers must give 60 days' notice before laying off 50 or more people at a single site.

    Two more businesses have filed a notice with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development this week.

    Several other businesses have recently filed WARN notices.
