Big Blue Swim School Sets Opening Date; 80% Off Swim Lesson Offer Available
Big Blue Swim School, located at 13032 Middlebrook Rd in Germantown, is offering a deal of 80% off the first four swim lessons ahead of its scheduled opening. The swim school, which has taken over the former site of Monkey Joe’s from 2016-2019 and Hard Times Cafe before that, has a planned July 8th opening date. Big Blue was founded in 2009 by U.S National Champion swimmer Chris DeJong and this will be the school’s first Maryland location. No opening date has been announced.

WATERFORD – The Waterford Team Race kicked off with time trials for all divisions to seed the drivers into their teams. During the race against the clock, Tyler Chapman clicked off the pole time for the Trucks on his first lap, but the second lap broke the track record for the division that was set back in 2009.
