Ashe County arrest reports

The following information was provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

June 19

Tyler T. Gilley, 35, of Crumpler, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gilley was released on June 19 under a $2,500 unsecured bond.

June 20

Cody A. Mahala, 38, of North Wilkesboro, was charged with possession of a gun on educational property. Mahala was released on June 20 on a written promise to appear.

Jeffery N. McCoy, 54, of Lansing, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, delivering methamphetamine and selling methamphetamine. McCoy was released on June 22 under a $10,000 secured bond.

Derek W. Penley, 31, of Todd, was charged with not paying child support. Penley was released on June 20 under a $1,527 secured bond.

Andres A. Sebastian, 20, of Zionville, was charged with four counts of forgery of endorsement and three counts of uttering forged endorsement. Sebastian is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond.

June 21

Isaias O. Mendez Morales, 38, of West Jefferson, was charged with driving while impaired and open containers after consuming alcohol. Mendez Morales was released on June 21.

June 22

Jared A. Turnmire, 39, of Sparta, was charged with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and failure to appear on charges of simple assault, driving with a revoked license and communicating threats. Turnmire is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $31,000 secured bond.

June 23

Jason R. Decarlo, 36, of Jefferson, was charged with violating a domestic violence protection order. Decarlo is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center without bond.

Jacob M. Gomez, 23, of West Jefferson, was charged with driving while impaired. Gomez was released on June 23.

Amber L. Holman, 32, of West Jefferson, was charged with simple assault, two counts of injury to personal property and resisting a public officer. Holman is currently being held at the Ashe County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
