Missing teen could be traveling to Ashe County

MATTHEWS — A teenager that was reported missing in Mecklenburg County may be heading to Ashe County, according to information provided by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Jayden London, 14, of Matthews, was last seen on Aug. 26, but has since been reported missing.

According to NCMEC, authorities believe that he may stay in the area around Matthews, or may travel to Ashe County. London is described as 6 feet tall and weighs 149 pounds. He has brown eyes with brown hair.

NCMEC asks that if you have any information on London or his disappearance, please contact NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department at (704) 336-7600.
