DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — The Durham mother of a 2-year-old girl who died in a drive-by shooting is asking the killer to come forward. The gunfire that hit three people rang out nearly three weeks ago at an apartment complex on East Cornwallis Road. The victim’s mother was also grazed in the head with a bullet.
Police searching for driver who hit man on scooter on Ellis Road in Durham, officers say
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – The Durham Police Department (DPD) is asking for help in finding a driver who officers said hit a man on an electric scooter. Durham police said the hit-and-run crash occurred just after 9 p.m. on June 27. The man on the scooter was traveling southbound on the 800 block of Ellis Road when he was struck from behind by a dark-colored sedan.

Duke Announces 2024 Volleyball Schedule
DURHAM - With the 54th season in program history approaching this fall, head coach Jolene Nagel and the Duke volleyball program announced the 2024 schedule Tuesday.
