Putnam, CT – Three masked individuals entered the Cargill Collision Center early Wednesday morning and were able to steal two vehicles from the lot. According to the Connecticut State Police (CSP), at approximately 12:07 AM on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, troopers were dispatched to Cargill Collision Center, 135 Providence Pike, for an active larceny of vehicles on the lot. The caller reported seeing three men wearing ski masks and black clothing on the property after an alarm system was tripped.

Plainfield, CT – A 33-year-old Norwich man turned himself in Tuesday morning on an active arrest warrant for the July 18th stabbing. According to the Plainfield Police Department, 33-year-old Francisco Ramon Martinez Suro of Norwich turned himself in to the Plainfield Police at approximately 9:20 AM on Tuesday, July 24th, 2024. Martinez Suro was wanted in connection to the July 19th stabbing at the Gulf gas station, 309 Putnam Road, which sent a 32-year-old man to the hospital.
