The Ashville Viking Festival is a blend of history, entertainment and family fun!

“We want you to have a fantastic time at the Ashville Viking Festival while also supporting our community,” said Elizabeth Furniss, Executive Director of the Pickaway County Visitors Bureau. “Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you there!”

The annual festival will be Ashville Community Park, which is located 165 Walnut Street. Festival runs between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday April 27, and between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, April 28.

Admission is a donation for the food pantry, which is in great need. Please consider donating generously with non-perishable items such as canned food, soups, peanut butter, and more. Avoid glass jars as they can break during handling.

Witness the thrill of an artillery demonstration featuring a cannon firing around 1:30 PM daily during the festival. We advise individuals sensitive to loud sounds to take note. For everyone’s comfort, kindly keep your pets at home, as the loud noises can be startling.

Watch skilled re-enactors bring the Viking era to life with mesmerizing combat displays, traditional dances, and captivating storytelling. Become immersed in Norse legends and sagas that will leave you spellbound.

Indulge in delicious Viking-inspired feasts, experiencing the joy of communal dining with authentic flavors that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more.

Discover a treasure trove of themed merchandise and handmade crafts at the bustling Saxon Market. From Viking apparel to unique souvenirs, find the perfect memento to remember your Viking adventure.

Engage in hands-on crafts, games, and interactive demonstrations suitable for the whole family. Let your little ones explore Viking history in a fun and educational environment.

Street parking is available around Ashville Community Park. Please park responsibly, avoiding grass areas and driveways. Look for parking on any of the four sides of the park.
