Judy Brown-Trivolli Wolf 1954-2023
After a long 12-year battle with cancer, Judy was called home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2023; she was 69. Judy was born and raised in Atascadero, CA, and graduated from Atascadero High School in 1972. Judy worked as a nurse’s aide and cook in adult care facilities; she had great compassion and empathy for her patients.

Theodore D. Marchand 1942-2023
Theodore Dieterich Marchand, of Atascadero, died peacefully in his sleep on November 29, 2023, in the house he built himself. Born in 1942 in Port Angeles, Washington, Ted grew up first in Sioux City, Iowa, and later in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. While Ted was serving in the Navy, his parents, Dorothy and Carroll Marchand, moved to Atascadero, and after finishing his enlistment, Ted hitchhiked across the country to join them. Ted met the love of his life, Martha, at a pool party in Morro Bay. They married in 1967, and by 1968, they had their first of seven children. Shortly after the baby arrived, they purchased a lot in Atascadero and began to build the house.
Ella G. Nelson 1923-2023
Ella Genece Nelson passed away on December 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Earl Nelson. She is survived by her son, Rolfe (his wife Christine), and her daughter, Jenell. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Julie Nelson Davis (Joe Davis-great grandchildren Corrinne and Sean) and Christopher Nelson (Tary-great grandchildren Ryder and Orion). Other grandchildren are Scott Hallett (great-grandchildren Kayla and Preston) and Brian Hallett (Crystal-great grandchildren Mattix and Taylen)

UPDATE (04:14 PM): When arriving on the scene, deputies discovered the bodies of a deceased male and female. Detectives remain on scene conducting the investigation. New hours and updated fees at the Clerk-Recorder’s Office
PASO ROBLES — Effective January 1, 2024, the County of San Luis Obispo Clerk-Recorder’s Office will have new hours and an increase in fees for recorded documents. The new hours will be Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last transactions accepted at 4:30 p.m. On Wednesday, the office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the last transactions accepted at 3:30 p.m. After 4:30 (3:30 on Wednesday), the public kiosks will be open and staff will be available to answer questions for another 30 minutes. Documents presented after the 4:30/3:30 cut-off time will be processed the next day.
