Mom of 3 Bulldogs has crafted hammocks for UGA fans. How to get them for game days, dorm rooms

Ana Bolanos, a proud mother of three Bulldogs—two current students and one alumnus at the University of Georgia — has launched a new venture that blends her roles as a parent and entrepreneur .

Inspired by her own UGA boys and the bulldog fanbase, Bolanos created Campus Hammocks , a brand specializing in artisan-made hammocks and chairs that celebrate school spirit.

"I wanted to create something that connects us all, bringing joy to UGA fans by providing a unique way to relax and express their school pride," said Bolanos. "My journey of blending traditional hammock craftsmanship with collegiate pride could offer an inspiring narrative for fellow Bulldogs and the broader community."

Expanding the collection

The family's first hammock collection was UGA and now they are expanding with more schools including: Georgia Tech, LSU, University of Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and USC.

Based in Suwanee, Campus Hammocks was started in 2022 and is officially licensed, with each hammock handmade by artisans in El Salvador.

"I prefer not to share monetary values," said Bolanos. "I can say that we’ve had hundreds of sales since launching."

There is not a physical store location. Sales are online only but the family also works with the UGA bookstore and they are slowly expanding with some local shops in Athens and all over Georgia.
