    Former Georgia football great Champ Bailey has a new job this season

    Former Georgia football star defensive back/receiver Champ Bailey has a new gig connected to the game.

    The inductee to the College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame will serve as a studio analyst this season.

    Bailey will work for TNT Sports for their Mountain West package for games on truTV and Max, according to a Wednesday announcement.

    That includes Georgia Southern’s game at Nevada on Sept. 7 and Kennesaw State’s game at San Jose State on Sept. 14.

    The first game featured will be San Jose State-Sacramento State on Thursday Aug. 29 at 10 p.m.

    Bailey will join former Auburn linebacker Takeo Spikes and former New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz in studio during the season with Adam Lefkoe.

    Bailey was an All-American in 1998 when he had 52 tackles and three interceptions along with 744 receiving yards and five touchdowns, 261 kickoff return yards and 49 punt return yards.

    He was a  first-round NFL pick by Washington in 1999 and a 12-time Pro Bowl selection including with Denver.
