Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart.

Dontrell Glover checks in at 6-foot-2, 315 pounds, and he hasn't even played his senior year of high school football just yet.

He's a big, talented offensive lineman recruit with the offers to match. With 20 offers to his name, Glover is a former Alabama Crimson Tide commitment who backed off his pledge sometime after Nick Saban left the Crimson Tide.

From Fairburn, Georgia, he received an offer from Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs early on in his recruitment process. Freed from his commitment to Alabama, Glover says UGA quickly became his top choice.

“Georgia became my top school when I decommitted,” Glover told On3 . “When I decommitted, there were a lot of schools on me. I went to Georgia for a spring practice and I was right back at Georgia for the spring game. I could see myself playing in Athens, playing in Sanford Stadium and calling this place home.”

Not only is Glover excited about playing for Georgia, but he believes in what the Bulldogs can do both now and in the future. Smart has built a championship program so this isn't a surprising analysis, but Glover does believe his 2025 class can be special.

“I feel like Georgia is going to go above the moon,” Glover said. “We’re going to be one of those teams that nobody can stop. When I get there, we’re going to go for a national championship. I know that. When I get to Georgia, it is going to be a great place and we have a great chance to do big things.”

To his point, with him in tow, Smart's 2025 class is ranked No. 4 in the nation and it will likely only get better. Glover, from Langston Hughes High School, is ranked as the No. 16 interior offensive lineman prospect in the 2025 class.
