Georgia's undefeated regular season in 2023 was spoiled with a slip at the finish line, falling to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. A poll of experts who cover the league for the USA TODAY Sports Network is pegging the Bulldogs to make no such mistake this fall, sweeping the league's most coveted crowns.

If these predictions come to fruition, it would mark the second time in the last three seasons Georgia has won the SEC title. The Bulldogs were nearly a unanimous choice, with one writer opting for Texas instead.

The Crimson Tide, which has won eight of the last 12 SEC titles but is in its first season without Nick Saban, is projected to finish fourth.

Here is the predicted order of finish for the coming season by the USA TODAY Sports Network's panel of 13 experts:

    1. Georgia (12 first-place votes, 12 SEC Championship votes)
    2. Texas (1 first-place vote, 1 SEC Championship vote)
    3. Ole Miss
    4. Alabama
    5. Missouri
    6. LSU
    7. Oklahoma
    8. Texas A&M
    9. Kentucky
    10. Auburn
    11. Florida
    12. South Carolina
    13. Arkansas
    14. Mississippi State
    15. Vanderbilt
