Georgia’s coaching staff will have their eyes on the internet a good bit on Saturday. There are four commitments scheduled with Georgia targets involved.

On the docket are announcements for four-star wide receiver Derek Meadows , four-star edge Bryce Davis , four-star linebacker Christian Gass and four-star offensive lineman Cortez Smith .

The announcements will be spread throughout the day today. All four prospects took an official visit to Georgia.

Meadows was in Athens on June 7. Davis was in town on June 14. Gass took an official visit on June 14. Smith was in town on June 21.

The Bulldogs are on top going into the decision of Smith. Georgia has a 95.6 percent chance of landing Smith.

Tennessee has grabbed the lead for Gass. The Volunteers have a 91.3 percent chance of landing the four-star.

Notre Dame has the best shot of landing Meadows according to RPM. The Fighting Irish have a 53.6 percent chance of landing the four-star wide receiver.

Clemson holds the upper hand in pursuit of Davis according to RPM. The Tigers have an 88.5 percent chance of landing the four-star edge.

What, when and where for commitment announcements

    Finalists

Meadows: Alabama, Notre Dame, LSU, Georgia and Michigan

    Gass: Georgia, Tennessee and USC

Davis: Clemson, Georgia South Carolina and Duke

Smith: Georgia Tech, Georgia, Miami and South Carolina

What have they said about Georgia

Note: We will showcase the most memorable quotes about Georgia from each prospect.

Meadows: “They’re a winning team and that’s what made me really want to go to a place like that,” Meadows told DawgsHQ. “They win and they do it the right way. Not only that, they are not separated. Those players, hang out together all the time. They have such a tight bond. You don’t see that in a lot of places. Georgia is different. They do things a whole lot differently.” June 9.

Gass: “Him and Schumann sat me down and talked to me and he said he wants me,” Gass said. “He doesn’t just want me for the type of player that I am but the character that I bring and knowing that I can connect with the guys in that room. I can see it. Being around those guys, that’s someone I can play with on the sidelines and on the field. I can learn from them… He’s definitely treating me like a priority him and coach Smart.” June 16 .

Davis: “It’s the work they put in, they’re going to push you to be the best on and off the field.” Davis said. “The opportunity at Georgia speaks for itself. It speaks volumes for me and my family. That’s why they’re in the spot where they are now.” July 19

Smith: “They have great football and a great education. I’ve been going there for years for camp and stuff.” July 15 .

    The big picture for Georgia

All four prospects set to come off of the board on Saturday play positions of need for Georgia. Georgia has two linebackers committed in the class of 2025.

The Bulldogs like to stack as much talent in that room as possible. Landing Gass would add a third playmaker to a group already set to join an elite group in 2025.

Georgia is set to lose over half of their wide receiver room after the season. Meadows has been a part of a group of targets that have been dedicated to trying to replenish the group.

Georgia has four players committed as wide receivers in the cycle already.

Davis is a key target as an edge. Georgia has two commits in five-star Isaiah Gibson and four star Darren Ikinnagbon .

Smith is the lone pure center on the board. Georgia has been solid at center for four years with Sedrick Van Pran. Jared Wilson has taken that spot over but only has two more years of eligibility. Landing Smith could solidify that all import trigger man spot on the offensive line.
