LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - You will see another surge of summertime warmth. Highs will feel more like June 23rd than May 21st. This taste of warmth will also include a little more humidity. It won’t be quite to the tropical level, but it will be very noticeable. When those levels climb, and the temperature gets to that level, it still becomes uncomfortable. I can’t rule out a stray shower or thunderstorm. The catch with that chance is it will be extremely limited. So, there isn’t a real weather reason that should keep you from voting.
One person taken to hospital after car hits Lexington grocery store
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - One person was taken to the hospital after a crash in Lexington. It happened Monday at the Aldi store in the 1100 block of Rojay Drive. According to police, a car was on the Fayette Mall section of the road when it experienced some sort of mechanical failure. The driver lost control and went off the road and over a “drop,” coming to rest against the side of the Aldi loading dock area.
